Mass at the Cathedral of St. Paul

We are especially excited about the Tuesday event planned for Conference 2015. In what is becoming a conference tradition, we are invited to make a pilgrimage to the Cathedral of St. Paul for mass in the Cathedral’s Centennial year! What an honor and delight.

The cornerstone was laid in 1907, and the first liturgy was held on Palm Sunday 1915. Work continued on the magnificent interior for decades. In 2012, the Vatican established a “bond of spiritual affinity” between the Basilica of Saint Paul Outside the Walls in Rome and the Cathedral of Saint Paul, meaning that anyone making a pilgrimage to the Cathedral can enjoy all the spiritual benefits as if they were able to pray at the tomb of the Apostle Paul in Rome! Tens of thousands journey every year to see this “catechism in stone and glass…evangelizing through grandeur and beauty.”

Our evening out will include a tour of the Cathedral and a reception following the mass. We can’t imagine a better way to spend the evening! We hope you'll be able to join us for Conference and this special event.

Please Note: Priests attending Conference are warmly invited to concelebrate at the mass at the Cathedral. If you would like to concelebrate, please bring your vestments.
