ParishSOFT Commemorates 10th Anniversary with Free Nexus Registrations for the 5000th ConnectNow Family Suite Customer

Saint Joseph Catholic Church in Fort Wayne, Indiana serves 645 families and is entrusted with caring for the souls of over 2,000 members. But the church’s diverse membership and transient community has made keeping their census information up-to-date a very time consuming task.

The parish had been successfully using ConnectNow Accounting for over three years, but clearly needed secure web-based software to simplify their member management workload. After considering several options, in May of 2017 ConnectNow Family Suite was selected because it was designed with the needs of Catholic parishes, like Saint Joseph’s, in mind. By implementing both ConnectNow Accounting and ConnectNow Family Suite together, the parish aspires to share Christ’s love with more members in their community.

When ConnectNow Family Suite was selected for the parish, they were surprised to learn that they were our 5000th ConnectNow Family Suite customer and would receive free registrations for their parish, but their goal with attending the conference is clear. Patty Sermersheim, Bookkeeper & Business Manager at Saint Joseph, explains, “Our unified hope is simply to learn and to take advantage of all that ConnectNow offers so that we can be as efficient as possible within our ministries.”

There are numerous things that each future attendee from Saint Joseph’s looks forward to learning and experiencing at Nexus. But they all share a sincere gratitude to ParishSOFT for making attending the users’ conference possible. As Patty notes, “All of us feel privileged to be able to attend NEXUS and we are grateful to ParishSOFT for making this possible!  Marcy and I shared with Cristy and Chelsea our past experience with the ParishSOFT staff and how very kind and patient you all are…..we cannot wait!”

Everyone at ParishSOFT cannot wait either Patty! If your parish or diocese hasn’t registered yet for this exceptional event, visit our registration page today to join us in October.  We hope to see you there as we celebrate the 10th anniversary of our users’ conference with our four lucky attendees from Saint Joseph Catholic Church!

Chris Lowney Aspires to Revitalize the Catholic Church with 'Everyone Leads'

Chris Lowney is a man with strong faith who has experienced first-hand how the Catholic Church positively impacts the lives of others.  He has also witnessed the significant challenges the Church has faced over the last few decades. With his unwavering faith in the Lord and a commitment to the mission of the Church, he was compelled to write his latest book, Everyone Leads: How to Revitalize the Catholic Church.

According to Lowney, the spiritual needs of many people are not being met, and that fact should be a wake up call for Catholics everywhere. Active parishioners are also getting older. So it is imperative – now more than ever – that parishes find new and creative ways to engage the next generation of young Catholics.
